All special events involving large numbers of participants for official college functions such as dedications, groundbreaking, and unique community projects should be coordinated through the division of Marketing.
	- The events, when scheduled, should be communicated to the office of Marketing.
 - The unit initiating the project may request the services of Institutional Communications.
 - The division of Marketing will recommend specific publicity procedures to ensure the proper coverage of the event and will, if necessary, inform other units of the college.
 - The division of Marketing will ensure that Trustees are notified in advance of special events.
